Other columns can be manually added to the pool of globally available columns. The
12 predefined columns cannot be deleted. They are highlighted in yellow to
distinguish them from manually defined columns.

A global column has an English name by default. More names can be added for
different languages.
X To create a new global column with a name in English and German
1 Open the Project Settings dialog box and select the Tables tab.
2 Click Add New Column from the Column Pool panel toolbar to create a new
global column.
3 Double click the new column or click Edit Column Properties from the
panel’s toolbar. The Settings for Column properties dialog box displays.
4 Click Add Name.
5 Select German (Germany) from the list of available languages and enter the
German name for the column.
6 Click Close when you are done.
