VRS Desktop Productivity Features

Introduction

This chapter explains how to use the Desktop Productivity features, which extend

VRS scanning functionality to commonly used email applications, as well as your

Windows Desktop and Windows Explorer. These features give you the ability to do

the following:

 Scan directly from an email message: While composing an email message, you

can scan and save a document as an attachment without leaving your email

screen.

 Scan directly from your Windows Desktop or Windows Explorer: Using the

options on the context menu, you can scan and save a document to your

Windows Desktop or to a folder in Windows Explorer.

These capabilities are available as soon as you activate them; a separate scanning

application is not required. For more information, see Activating VRS Desktop

Productivity Features on page 78.
